PHIL ACKLAND'S AUTHORIZED INSTRUCTORS
All instructors have been personally trained by Phil Ackland and have met his Instructor Guidelines. Phil and his Instructors follow the strict guidelines set in the Quality Management System, which ensures that whoever delivers the course to you, it will be consistent.
Phil Ackland
Phil Ackland has been in the commercial kitchen field for nearly 40 years. He is a member of the NFPA 96 Committee. He has written a series of books on the subjects of Installing, Inspecting and Servicing commercial kitchen exhaust systems (two are referenced in the 2004 edition of NFPA 96). He offers training and/or certification to contract cleaners, Fire and Building inspectors and investigators and the insurance profession. He assists fire investigators and attorneys with kitchen system related insurance liability claims. Jim Roberts
Jim Roberts established a cleaning company, D.P.W. Services, in 1975. The company offers numerous services to the restaurant industry, including: ventilation inspection, service of water wash systems, filter exchange, access door/hinge kit/grease containment installation and total kitchen cleaning. Jim is a Gaylord certified water wash servicer. Jim Roberts has been teaching Phil Ackland's courses since 2002. Jim, with Rory Wilson, runs Phil Ackland's Training Facility in Louisville, Kentucky.

Rory Wilson
Rory Wilson has been in the Exhaust Cleaning Field since 1978. He developed and managed many sales and marketing programs for D.P.W. Services, since 1982. He also developed and managed truck washing sales, pressure washing sales and service, and kitchen exhaust sales and personnel training programs. Rory has been a member of the Kentucky Restaurant Association since 1988.
Rory Wilson is authorized to teach Phil Ackland's 5-Day Exhaust Cleaner School.
Doc Reisman
Doc Reisman has been in the Exhaust Cleaning Field since 1998. Experienced in many facets of power washing ranging from residential to commercial non-kitchen exhaust services. Doc is a past president of Power Washers of North America (PWNA), a national contract cleaning organization. He is also a committee member of both the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 96) Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations and the Underwriters Laboratory (UL 1978) Standard for Grease Ducts.
Doc Reisman is authorized to teach Phil Ackland's 2-Day Exhaust Cleaner Seminar.

Carlos Herrera is authorized to teach Phil Ackland's 5-Day Exhaust Cleaner School (en Espanol).
